The question of whether and by how much sea levels may rise or fall under the influence of "global warming" (aka "climate change") has been rekindled in New Zealand by the recent release of a report by the Parliamentary Commissioner for the Environment, Dr Jan Wright, it is apparent that whatever other advice Dr Wright may have relied on, the year-old report by NZCSC scientist Dr Gerrit van der Lingen was not one of them. For that reason, it is timely to make that well-researched 29-page report here. It has been highly recommended for its depth and scholarship by no less an authority than Professor Freeman Dyson.
