It has just been revealed that Hoesung Lee, the newly elected head of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), already was a member of a South Korean institute which itself is another creature of the United Nations, the Global Green Growth Institute, whose Director-General is Yvo de Boer, formerly the UN's top climate official.
