In view of alarmist claims that Hurricane Sandy in the US was caused by AGW (man-made global warming), two Australian scientists, meterorologist William Kininmonth and paleoclimatologist Dr Robert Carter have clarified the issue in the leading Melbourne newspaper, The Age here
