The Heartland Institute has just up-dated and reformatted a written submission it made to the Commons Select Committee of the British Parliament in October 2013, in response to an inquiry into the findings of the U.N. Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) as published in its Fifth Assessment Report (AR5). In answer to the Committee's question: "How robust are the conclusions in the AR5 Physical Science Basis report?", Heartland responded: "The conclusions are not robust. Although the IPCC's reports are voluminous and their arguments persistent, the claims of rising confidence in attributing effects to human greenhouse gas emissions and predictions of future warming and climate change are not supported by scientific evidence."
Three years on, this response remains more relevant than ever.
