Canadian climatologist Dr Tim Ball writes: "I will not apologize for my outrage at being lectured to about my moral obligations concerning climate change from the likes of Benjamin Santer, from his position at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Ironically, and sadly, he is right that we need to address climate change, but for the wrong reason. We need to address the false science about climate change and global warming he was part of creating and perpetuating almost from the start. We need to address and stop the use of science for a political agenda, as his latest pontificating illustrates."
Self-styled environmentalist Michael Shellenberger has publicly apologised for his earlier part in creating a climate scare: "On behalf of environmentalists everywhere, I would like to formally apologize for the climate scare we created over the last 30 years. Climate change is happening. It’s just not the end of the world. It’s not even our most serious environmental problem."
A short video in which US meteorologist Mark Mathis explains why the term "greenhouse effect" does not represent the truth about effects of carbon dioxide on Earth's temperatures. After watching the video, scroll on for more interesting info in the comments that follow.
Bjorn Lomborg wites in "The Australian" newspeper: "Climate campaigners want to convince us that not only should we maintain these staggering costs, but that we should spend a fortune more on climate change, since our very survival is allegedly at stake. But they are mostly wrong, and we’re likely to end up wasting trillions during the coming decades. I will outline how we could spend less, do a better job addressing climate change, and help far more effectively with many of the world’s other ills."
Our American NZCSC member, Dr David Wojick posts at CFact about growing recognition of the Magna Carta Universatum 2020 issued recently by CLINTEL (Climate Intelligence Foundation) in which he states: "The climate science community ought to be more honest to the public about the severe limitations of their theoretical models."
Anthony Watts has just announced on his blog WUWT this message from Canadian climatologist Dr Tim Ball: "Michael Mann’s case against me was dismissed this morning by the BC Supreme Court and they awarded me [court] costs, Tim Ball." Watts adds: "This is a developing story, I’ll add more as we know more.". And when that "more" arrives we'll post it here.
Read this subsequent analysis of Dr Ball's victory, and the adverse consequences for IPCC:
These slides by US physicist Dr Ed Berry prove human CO2 emissions add only 18 ppm to CO2 in the atmosphere while nature adds 392 ppm. Therefore, everything the UN IPCC and its supporters have told you about climate change is WRONG! Human emissions do not change the climate.(Click on downward arrow lower left corner to change slides)
"Contrary to expectations, climate scientists continue to report that large regions of the Earth have not been warming in recent decades." Kenneth Richards popsts at PrincipiaScientific International.
Climate change alarmism is based entirely on speculation, not on science. Alarmism per se is not a hoax, because people really believe it. But alarmism is driven by a repeated practice that is in fact a hoax. This common hoax is the presentation of speculative conclusions as though they were established scientific facts about the physical world. The standard definition of a hoax is a deliberate deception that is intended to fool a lot of people. The scientists and journalists who falsely report speculations as facts know perfectly well what they are doing, which makes what they do a hoax. Distinguished US analyst Dr David Wojick explains:
The World Climate Declaration was initiated in 2019 by emeritus professor Guus Berkhout, founder of the Dutch Climate Intelligence Foundation (CLINTEL). The list of 816 signatories is a living document that is regularly updated with new additions. The most up-to-date version can be found on www.clintel.org. The declaraton is headed "There is No Climate Emergency" and contains detailed evidence to support this fact. The honorary secretary of our Coaltiion, Terry Dunleavy MBE, is New Zealand Ambassador for Clintel.
In a lecture to the UK-based Global Warming Policy Foundation, Professor Emeritus Richard Lindzen, formerly of MIT, said: " None of the proposed policies will have much impact on greenhouse gases. Thus we will continue to benefit from the one thing that can be clearly attributed to elevated carbon dioxide: namely, its effective role as a plant fertilizer, and reducer of the drought vulnerability of plants. Meanwhile, the IPCC is claiming that we need to prevent another 0.5◦C of warming, although the 1◦C that has occurred so far has been accompanied by the greatest increase in human welfare in history."

A website for continuing reference well worth adding to your bookmarks. This website explains why Carbon Dioxide (CO2) is essential for life, and the many benefits it confers on Planet Earth and all everyone who lives and everything that grows on it.
Thanks to Australian colleague, Professor Cliff Ollier, we are able to post papers from the Porto Climate Conference 2018 (7/8 September) held at Porto University, Portugal. These papers are a veritable treasure trove of the scientific realities of climate change, countering all of the alarmist propaganda topics. Papers begin at page 9, download takes a few seconds, but well worth reading in full.

"Honest, competent scientists should have no reason to close out opportunities for open discussion regarding claims that appear to be disproven by readily verifiable observations." Writing at Newsmax, Professor Larry Bell quotes three examples associated with climate change.
The '2018 State of the Polar Bear' report, published by the Global Warming Policy Foundation, confirms that polar bears are continuing to thrive, despite recent reductions in sea ice levels. This finding contradicts claims by environmentalists and some scientists that falls in sea ice would wipe out bear populations. The report’s author, zoologist Dr Susan Crockford, says that there is now very little evidence to support the idea that the polar bear is threatened with extinction by climate change.
A 'Happy Easter' posting on NZ blog Whaleoil: "As Eric Idle of Monty Python fame said, 'always look on the bright side of life'. There is so much gloom and doom pedalled by the MSM because it sells better. When it comes to climate change scientists actually increase their institution’s cash flow if they proclaim something catastrophic and threatening. So this is dedicated to Eric … “always look on the bright side of climate change, especially CO2 increases”.
In two separate reports, members of the New Zealand Climate Science Coalition have debunked alarmist propaganda that methane emitted by agricultural livestock makes any meaningful contribution to global warming.

Report by Emeritus Professor Geoff Duffy: Link to Duffy paper
"Solar energy can do a few useful things. It can power a radio in an off-grid location. But it can’t support our day-to-day life. The sun’s incoming energy is extremely dilute, requiring panels spread over vast swathes of land to absorb it, thus pushing out forests and harming biodiversity. The 648 MW Kamuthi solar plant in Tamil Nadu covers ten square kilometres. A tenth of that land would have been sufficient for a larger capacity nuclear facility." Indian political leader Sanjeev Sahblok writes in the Times of India. (A Pigovian tax is a tax on any market activity that generates externalities - costs not included in the market price).
